At Gully Brook Kennels, we are passionate about providing exceptional pet boarding service. Although we are new to the dog boarding industry, we will strive to provide the best care possible for your dog during their stay with us.

Our Story
Welcome to Gully Brook Kennels. We are Lynn and Dan Bowen and we live in Union Springs, New York. We both are dog lovers as we both had dogs growing up. We have raised and bred Saint Bernards and Newfoundlands for many years too.
When we were looking for a place to board our dogs a few years ago, we found that there was no boarding kennels nearby. The closest was about 45 minutes away from us. We started our research on kennels about 2 years ago and found that there is a great need for pet boarding, not just in our area but nationwide. The kennels we visited during our research all said they are mostly full all the time and have to turn clients away. That is when we decided to open our own kennel to help fulfill the need of dog boarding. And 2 years later our plan is coming together as you can see in the building process in the photos below.
Our visits with other kennel owners have provided us with the knowledge of how to run a kennel, and what to expect in running a kennel.
I have done training in dog handling with a local SPCA and will continue to learn more about the industry as we move forward. Be assured, we will provide exceptional care for your dog during their stay at Gully Brook Kennels. We hope to start taking reservations in January 2025 for opening April 1st, 2025. We will keep this page updated.
